FAQ (actually just the answers)

1. Yes they are real needles. 20 gauge hypodermics
2. They are temporary and do not leave scars in most people
3. Yes it hurt. but it hurt more to kneel there for 3 hours than the needles
4. Yes she is smiling, because she is happy and very high on endorphins.
5. He is her fiance ( now husband).
6. I did the piercing.
7. 50 needles
8. The top corner is supposed to be that way.
9. No, it does not make sound human live skin is not rigid enough.

The DD was removed somehow by DA. They reinstated it, but not with the glowing comments of the original submission. I miss them.

Most definitely, it is an amazing picture. Of course it helps when the model is a masochist and does needle play every so often just for fun :)

The fact that this is a photograph using real people and actual piercings makes this picture amazingly effective and real. This is amazing. So beautiful and physical, I feel like I could reach and pluck the strings and see her flesh move in response.

I have no words for it. It's creepy, beautiful and impressive at the same time.

But that it is real... It just scares the living daylights out of me, but it is so well done. You have won my respect. It is amazing work.
